Connected At Heart: Interdependence and Generosity
Rev. Lyn Cox
As Unitarian Universalists, we cultivate a spirit of gratitude and hope. We give thanks for the web of connections that link us to each other, to our neighbors and wider community, to the earth, and to the past and future. One of the ways our gratitude, hope, and love manifest is through the practice of generosity. Financial generosity is only part of it. We also practice generosity of heart, opening our awareness to the ways our wellbeing and liberation are bound up together. May the assurance that we are part of something larger than ourselves spiritually, temporally, and practically lead us to giving and receiving with abundance.
